The Dieterich Movin' Maroons scored 5 runs in the top of the 4th inning Thursday to erase a 4-2 deficit and went on to knock off the Red Hill baseball Salukis 8-5 at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport.
The winners scored their 8 runs on 10 hits and made 2 errors while the hosts were held to 5 runs on 8 hits and made one error.
Avery Arbuckle led the Saluki offensive attack with 2 hits and 2 RBI and Hunter Shick and Carter Davis each added RBI singles, but it was not enough.
The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Salukis, who are now 5-2 on the season. They get back into action Saturday when they hit the road to Waltonville.
