
The Lawrenceville Cross Country Indians held their final home meet Saturday on the 3-mile City Park course.
The Lady Indians finished first in the girl's competition led by Lexie Brooke with a second-place finish in a time of 21:32. Laurel Buchanon and Finley Herring tied for second and third in a time of 22:03 and Ellie Buchanon finished 10th in a time of 24:40. Fairfield finished second and Casey-Westfield third.
The Indian boys were second in their meet led by senior Walter Eberwine with a second-place finish in a time of 17:51. Senior Braydan Morrison was third in 18:01 and senior Aiden Crawford finished sixth in a time of 18:28. Fairfield captured the boy's race.
Parkview held its first junior high meet also on Saturday. The Lady Braves were second in the girls competiton behind West Salem. They were led by Addi Thacker who was first over the 2-mile course in a time of 13:13, Abriel Lake finished sixth in 14:47 and Keira Brooke was ninth in 15:38.
Parkview was represented in the boy's race by Dexter Eagleson who finished fifth in a time of 13:57 as an individual. West Salem won the boys competition.
The next action for the Indians is Thursday at the Robinson Invitational.
