With a pair of wins in the Alma Invitational, Anderson University volleyball improved to 8-5 this season.
The Ravens lost their opening match Friday to Calvin in Alma, Michigan, 25-19, 25-16, 26-24. Shelbyville graduate Shelby Lasure finished with one assist and six digs for Anderson.
The Ravens returned to the court Friday and defeated Alma, 25-18, 26-24, 25-15. Lasure had three assists and 11 digs.
On Saturday, Anderson finished the invitational with a 25-22, 25-21, 25-19 win over Concordia Chicago. Lasure had one kill, one assist and five digs.

Asher Caldwell
The Morristown graduate carded an 8-over-par 80 Thursday for Trine University in the MIAA Jamboree No. 2 played at The Medalist Golf Course in Marshall, Michigan.
Caldwell finished tied for 28th place overall.

Jake Garrison
The Shelbyville graduate shot rounds of 79 Saturday and 82 Sunday for Franklin College at the Stateline Shootout hosted by Mount St. Joseph at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course.
Garrison’s two-round total of 161 left him tied for 52nd overall.
