Boys track Bremen battles weather for win KOUTS - Despite dealing with rain, sleet, hail, and snow Saturday the Bremen Boys were able to win the Kouts Invitational with a dominant performance. The adverse weather conditions couldn’t slow down the Lions as they took a first place finish in six of the 13 events. The meet was called after 13 events, but the Lions already held a nearly 70 point advantage over the second place team. First place medalists for the Lions were Evan Manges in high jump and 110 hurdles, Justin Zumbrun in long jump and 300 hurdles, Evan Yoder in the 100 dash, and the 4×100 relay of Zack Miller, Wyatt Pollard, Lennin Diaz, and Brady Ginter. Many other runners took important points for the team and even had season’s bests or personal bests. Girls track Bremen girls fourth at Kouts KOUTS - On a Saturday that provided some of the toughest weather patterns of the season, the Bremen Lady Lions took on a field of 7 other teams at the Kouts Invitational. The meet was called and scored after 13 events, putting the girls in fourth place overall. Many different girls contributed to the overall score and even managed season’s bests despite the ever changing weather conditions.
