The Red Hill basketball Salukis have now won two straight games and have some hardware.
They beat the Wayne City Indians 69-63 Saturday at Webber High School in Bluford in the consolation championship game of the Midland Trail Conference tournament (MTC).
Wayne City led by three after one quarter and by 4 at the half, but the Salukis rallied to tie the game at 51 heading into the final stanza.
Elijah Stitt scored all 8 of his points in the final period and Avery Arbuckle was 5 of 6 at the free throw line to cement the win.
The 11-11 Salukis were led in scoring by Ozzy Ash with 17 points, Abram Clark added 16 and Arbuckle had 14.
Their next game is Friday at Vincennes Rivet.
