The Parkview basketball Braves were in action Friday playing Effingham.
The 7th grade lost 37-26.
The 8th grade won 44-40 led by Paxton Gher with 21 points with Matthew Ramirez and Knox Pritchard each adding 11.
The Braves were scheduled to play Paris Crestwood Monday, but that has been postponed due to weather.
