In quarterfinal play in the 8th grade Little Eastern Illinois Conference (LEIC) boys basketball tournament at Hutsonville, Parkview was knocked off by Newton (Jasper County).
The 4th seeded Braves were beaten by the 5th seeds 43-39 this week.
Matthew Ramirez led Parkview in the loss with 20 points.
