The Red Hill baseball Salukis got solid starting pitching and plenty of offense Monday as they picked up their second win in a row, an 11-1, 6 inning victory over the Carmi White County (CWC) Bulldogs at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport.
The hosts scored 11 runs on 11 hits and made no errors while the visitors were held to 1 run on 7 hits and committed 7 costly errors.
Hunter Shick had 2 hits, and 3 RBI and Jaxon Kiser added 3 hits and an RBI to lead the Saluki offense.
Carter Davis picked up the win on the mound. He went all six innings and allowed 1 run on 7 hits with 6 strikeouts and one walk.
The Salukis are now 4-1 on the season and will host the Oblong Panthers Tuesday at 4 p.m.
