Shelbyville High School senior guard Hannah Baker has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Baker's strong overall play helped the Golden Bears earn two blowout wins last week. Shelbyville topped Speedway, 61-20, and Southwestern, 89-10.
Against Speedway, Baker had 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and eight steals. She followed that performance with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and five steals against Southwestern.

Baker and the Golden Bears (3-1) are back in action Tuesday at home against Beech Grove.
