Anders to guide Ancilla softball DONALDSON - Tom Anders, Jr. has been named the new softball coach at Ancilla College. He takes over for Juliaclaire Plezbert who accepted a position with Goshen College at the end of December. Anders has coaching experience at Logansport High School and most recently at Plymouth high School. He has degrees from Ball State and Indiana Wesleyan. He is currently the pastor of the Plymouth Church of the Brethren. “We are looking forward to Tom joining our staff,” said athletic director Brian Pearison. “He met with the team Friday and will begin workouts this week.” Anders says he hopes to bring continuity to the players and build a respectable program. “I know there are a lot of excellent softball players in the area and I hope to bring them to Ancilla in the future, he said. “The program has not been competitive the past couple of years and I hope to change that.”
