The Parkview Basketball Braves had their efforts to win the 2024 LEIC tournament championship turned back Wednesday evening. They were knocked off in the title game at Roosevelt Middle School in Casey 45-35 by Robinson (Nuttall) Middle School. Paxton Gher led the Braves with 16 points. The 8th grade Braves will play for third place at 6 p.m. Thursday in the 8th grade tournament which wraps up also at Roosevelt Middle School.
