The National Weather Service says that a WInd Advisory is in effect for Friday across the GIANT-FM listening area.
Winds from the southwest will turn west at 25 to 30 mph as the day continues with gusts of up to 40 to 50 mph.
These types of gusty winds will blow around unsecured outdoor objects, blow down tree limbs and power lines causing potential power outages. Winds at those speeds can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles such as RVs and large trucks and campers. Use extra caution when traveling.
