Two women were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon at Michigan Road and Tyler Road.
Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an injury collision at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Monday, February 16.
According to Deputy Nicholas Laffoon of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Nicole Martin, 43, of Lakeville, was driving a 2007 Dodge SUV when she entered the path of a 2018 Nissan SUV driven by Patricia Anderson, 73, of Walkerton.
Anderson was traveling southbound on Michigan Road when the collision occurred.
Both drivers were transported from the scene by ambulance for medical treatment. Authorities reported that both Martin and Anderson sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Multiple emergency service providers responded to the scene to assist with the collision, including the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, LaPaz Fire & EMS, Reichert Towing, and Knepp Towing.
