Two drivers were arrested Tuesday afternoon for operating vehicles after being adjudged habitual traffic violators, according to Plymouth Police reports.
Just before 2 p.m., Officer Krynock conducted a traffic stop at Oak Drive and Jefferson Street after observing a traffic infraction.
The driver, Clayton Conley, 53, of North Judson, was found to have a license status of habitual traffic violator for life. Conley was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
At approximately 3:50 p.m., Corporal Schieber observed a male driver in the area of Jackson Heights and Holloway Street. The officer recognized the driver and knew he had an invalid license.
Cameron Cannan, 29, of Holloway Drive in Plymouth, was found to have a license status of habitual traffic violator. Cannan was taken into custody on the felony charge and lodged at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
