Three people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision Sunday at the intersection of 8A Road and Jarrah Road in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, the crash occurred when a 17-year-old female driver traveling east on 8A Road entered the intersection and collided with a southbound 2008 Honda SUV driven by Payton M. Town, 18, of Plymouth.
The juvenile driver reportedly did not see the southbound vehicle before proceeding into the intersection. She was operating a 2013 Kia SUV at the time of the collision.
Marshall County Central Dispatch received several 911 calls reporting the crash. When deputies arrived, they found that all three people involved had sustained injuries.
The 17-year-old driver was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Town and her passenger, Mykenzie L. Town, 21, of Plymouth, sustained injuries at the scene but declined emergency medical transport.

The crash remains under investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
Names of juveniles involved in traffic accidents are typically withheld in accordance with standard media practices.
