Three Lawrenceville residents recently were sentenced to prison during appearances in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
According to Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop, 23-year-old Kyley Benton was charged with Failure to Report to a Penal Institution, a Class 3 Illinois Felony and was given an additional 2 years with the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to run concurrently with her original sentence. That will be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
34-year-old Jaquavon Williams was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. He was handed a 3 1/2-year term with the IDOC to be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
22-year-old Johnny Davis, Jr. was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and was the recipient of a 3 1/2-year sentence along with 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
