Today, the Indiana State Fair is marking the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ legendary 1964 performance.
The Indiana Farmers Coliseum is hosting the “1964 Seems Like Yesterday” event, featuring a live listening session of the original audio from the 1964 concert, followed by a performance by the tribute band 1964, recreating The Beatles’ original setlist.

- Tickets: General admission tickets are priced at $5, the same as in 1964, with $25 floor tickets also available. Tickets are on sale now at indianastatefair.com. Special $5 general admission tickets are available while supplies last.
- Evening's Schedule of Events
- 5:30PM: Dedication of permanent art project
- 6PM: Live Listening session of original audio from 1964 performance (followed by an Intermission)
- 7PM 1964 performance of the original Beatles set list (followed by an Intermission)
- 8PM 1964 performance of the Beatles' greatest hits
Fab Four Activities:
- Commemoration: The event will take place exactly 60 years to the day of The Beatles’ original performance at the same venue.
- Art Installation: A Beatles-themed art installation by Indiana artist Cory Heimann will be unveiled. The large-scale piece, made from Rubik’s cubes, will be a permanent fixture at the fairgrounds.
- Audio Playback: Fans can enjoy a pre-concert listening party featuring a high-quality playback of the original 1964 show, broadcast over the airwaves at the time.
- Live Concert: The tribute band 1964 will perform The Beatles’ original set list, meticulously recreating the magic of the live performances from over 60 years ago.
