The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary road closure on State Road 59 in Clay City.
Beginning on or after Monday, crews will be closing State Road 59 between Nye Street and 9th Street. During the closure, small structure pipe lining will be taking place as well as culvert work at Conneley Ditch.
Work is expected to last a few weeks but is weather permitting and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route around the closure and to use caution in and around all work zones.
