A call regarding a suspicious person at a local laundromat on Thursday evening led Plymouth Police officers to arrest an Ohio man wanted on an active Marshall County warrant for public intoxication.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. on January 22nd, officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to Ladybug Laundry, located at 803 West Jefferson Street. The caller expressed concern about a sleeping bag found behind the building near the alley and suggested a male might be sleeping there, requesting officers to check on the individual's welfare.
Upon arrival, officers located 36-year-old Charles Davis of Ohio sleeping under the sleeping bags. A check with Central Dispatch confirmed that Davis had an outstanding warrant for public intoxication from Marshall County.
Davis was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He is being held on the warrant with a $250 cash bond.
