The Marshall County Historical Society is sponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture event on Oct. 10 from noon to 1 p.m.
Museum Assistant Director Sue Irwin was scheduled to talk in November about local architecture. Due to a conflict with Kyle Sater from the Studebaker Museum, Irwin will speak at the October Brown Bag, and Sater will present at the March 2026 Brown Bag.
Marshall County is chock-full of interesting buildings and even more interesting stories that accompany them. Nearly every architectural gem has a tale, from quirky to tragic. Hear the histories of the oldest building in the Village of Maxinkuckee, some early truck stops, a house you could build from a kit, and more.
The Brown Bag will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum, at 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.
