The sectional road is now set for Indiana high school football programs after the Indiana High School Athletic Association released the postseason tournament pairings Sunday night.
Shelbyville will make the short trip west to Greenwood on Oct. 25 while Triton Central travels east to Liberty, Indiana.
Shelbyville
With unbeaten Class 4A, No. 4 Martinsville in Sectional 23, the goal was to avoid the Artesians as long as possible.
Shelbyville did just that.
The Golden Bears (1-7) landed in the bottom half of the 8-team bracket and will face Greenwood (2-6) in the sectional quarterfinal round.

A win for Shelbyville would likely set up a semifinal game at home at McKeand Stadium against Bedford North Lawrence (1-7). The Stars’ only win this season came Sept. 28 against winless Jennings County (0-8), 41-14.
In the top half of the bracket, Silver Creek (3-5) travels to Connersville (2-6) while Martinsville (8-0) will host Charlestown 1-7).
Triton Central
The Tigers begin their quest for a sixth-straight sectional championship at winless Union County (0-8), a program averaging just 2.8 points per game.
Triton Central is in the bottom half of the Sectional 38 bracket.
The other quarterfinal game is Shenandoah (4-4) at Winchester (3-5).

If Triton Central and Winchester win their sectional openers, the Golden Falcons will travel to Fairland for the semifinal round contest.
In the top half of the bracket, Lapel (5-3) is at unbeaten Northeastern (8-0) and Eastern Hancock (5-3) travels to Centerville (7-1).
