Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales visited and toured an aluminum production and recycling facility located in Terre Haute.
Novelis provides rolled, recycled aluminum to customers throughout the world. The plant produces aluminum foil sheets and rolls used in commercial and residential kitchens. Secretary Morales met with executives at Novelis and employees to get a firsthand look at what goes into the recycling and rolling aluminum process. Novelis is the world’s largest recycler of aluminum with a focus on sustainability.
The Business Services Division is one of the four divisions within the Secretary of State’s Office.
“Touring this facility provided such a unique overview of the aluminum industry. Novelis is using innovative solutions to provide for Hoosier customers. I want these companies to know they have a partner in the Secretary of State’s Office as they are providing jobs and are driving the economy,” said Morales.
