The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office has released the following information related to a threat toward schools.
The post includes the Winamac Community School Corporation that has received an anonymous email regarding threats at school. The same email has been sent to approximately 100 schools.
There was no mention the content of the threat.
Law enforcement is reporting that at this time the threats are not thought to be credible. However, the sheriff's office will have an increased presence at the Winamac schools Friday.
This post further stated that it is intended for transparency of the situation so parents are aware. There should be no reason for panic, or a change in daily activities at this time.
