The City of Shelbyville’s Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) is currently performing sanitary line cleaning and inspection (with camera equipment) in the Wellington Addition over the next several weeks.
During this process, the crews have identified damaged and/or collapsed main sewer lines. As a result, work is taking place in the area of 511 Wellington Blvd., where a section of the main sanitary sewer will be replaced today and possibly into Thursday.
If additional damaged areas are discovered, crews may remain in the Wellington Addition area for an extended period to complete necessary repairs.
We appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents as we work to ensure the reliability and safety of the City’s sanitary sewer system.
For questions or additional information, please contact the City of Shelbyville WRRF Department at 317-392-5131.
