Parke County deputies were able to stop a suspect vehicle following a reckless driving complaint Sunday night.
About 10:30 p.m., deputies responded to US 41 in the Lyford area. A traffic stop was made on the suspect vehicle which the sheriff's report says was observed at a high rate of speed. The stop was made at the US 41 intersection with Mecca Road.
The report states that a person in the vehicle, Ashton Brown, 18, of Veedersburg, was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Brown was given a date to appear in Parke County Circuit Court.
The driver, name unavailale in this report, was cited for speeding.
Rockville Police assisted deputies at the traffic stop.
