Beginning on or around Monday, August 5, crews will begin ramp and lane closures on U.S. 50 in Knox County near Vincennes. Lane closures will occur on U.S. 50 between Hillcrest Road and North 2nd street. Ramp closures will occur to the U.S. 41 southbound to U.S. 50 westbound ramp and the U.S. 50 eastbound to 6th street ramp.
Lane and ramp closures will allow crews to perform bridge maintenance operations to the Hillcrest Road bridge. These operations include bridge painting. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete, depending on the weather.
Motorists are encouraged to utilize the other ramps at the U.S. 41 and U.S. 50 cloverleaf as a detour.
