The Plymouth Community School Corporation will conduct a School Board meeting Tuesday evening, March 7th at 7 p.m. in the Administration Board Room behind the high school. This meeting is a meeting of the School Board in public to conduct the corporation’s business and should not be considered a public community meeting. There will be time for public participation on agenda items.
The school board will consider the retirement of Kelsey Flynn as the PHS WSOI secretary effective June 1st along with her resignation as the Sunshine Club Sponsor. Other resignations include Susan Everett, as the LJH Boys and Girls Assistant Track Coach, Joshua Dingeldein, as a PHS Football Assistant Coach, Benjamin Fager, as the PHS Board Game Club Sponsor, Jonathan Hutton, as the PHS Volleyball Head Coach, Michael Yoe, as a Service Center Substitute Custodian, and Maria Figueroa as the Webster Elementary School Principal’s Secretary. There are also two terminations: Shannon Hudson, PHS, Special Education Aide-Intense Interventions with an effective termination date of February 2nd, and Angela Binkley, Menominee Elementary Corporation Aide with a termination date of March 3rd.
The Business Transactions for the School Board will be to consider the appointment of the Riverside Intermediate Assistant Principal, receive an update on Curriculum and Curricular Adoption by Assistant Superintend Jill VanDriessche, consider a transportation agreement with Union North United for a student receiving services at Basher Home, consider second reading on meal charge accounts, Adjunct Teachers and supplemental pay for teachers. Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter will also give a legislative update.
