City police arrested a Plymouth woman early Thursday morning after they were called for a vehicle in the drainage ditch behind Kroger.
Plymouth Police units were dispatched to the area behind Kroger and Council Drive at 3:30 a.m. on December 19th.
The driver was located by officers in another vehicle that had stopped to assist. Brittany Nicole Bryant-Richards of the North Michigan Street Trailer Park was found to be intoxicated and admitted to police that she was the driver.
Bryant-Richards was transported to Plymouth Hospital for a blood draw and then to the Marshall County Jail. She was booked in on the charge of operating while intoxicated with a BAC above .15%.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
