A Plymouth man was taken into custody over the weekend for charges related to battery.
On Sunday, June 23rd, at 10:40 pm, Marshall County Police received a 9-1-1 call for an active domestic incident in the 16,000 block of 12th Road.
Members of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Culver Police Department responded to the call. As reported by Officer Wozniak, officers located 35-year-old Jason Kersey of Plymouth in the residence. He was taken into custody without any issues
During the investigation, it was found that Kersey had beaten his mother. The investigation also found that, during the altercation, Kersey displayed a knife.
Jason Kersey was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked for domestic battery and intimidation with a deadly weapon. His cash bond was set at $1,500.
