The Plymouth Kiwanis Club is bringing a fun-filled morning of competition and activity to Centennial Park this Saturday with its Kids Obstacle Course event, open to children ages 5 through 12.
The revamped event features age-appropriate challenges divided into two groups. Younger competitors, ages 5 to 8, will complete a one-mile bike ride, a half-mile run, and then tackle the obstacle course. Older kids, ages 9 to 12, will face a tougher challenge, taking on a two-mile bike ride, a one-mile run, and the obstacle course.
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. at the Hoosier Old Wheels Shelter, with competition getting underway at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child from the same family.
Organizers say the event promises a morning of friendly competition and family fun for participants and spectators alike.
