The Plymouth High School Cheerleaders competed at their first-ever competition at the Lake Central Championship on Saturday, September 20. The team entered the 3A/4A Game Day division, going head-to-head with eight veteran and seasoned programs that have a long history of qualifying for both state and nationals.
Coach Brenna Langowski commented, “I am very proud of this team and the work that they have put in so far this season. For many of them, this was their very first time stepping onto a competition mat, and they rose to the challenge. We went against some incredible programs today, and this experience will only make us stronger.”
The cheer coach continued, “This competition marks the start of our journey, and I can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes as the season continues. They’ve set big goals for themselves, and I truly believe they have the talent, drive, and heart to reach them.”
The PHS Team placed 4th.
The next cheer contest for the PHS cheerleaders will be at Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville on September 27th.
