Our Hospice receives 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award

Our Hospice has been honored with the 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award, presented by MatrixCare, in recognition of its exceptional performance in the 2024 Hospice CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) scores.

The Hospice CAHPS Honors program, a flagship recognition initiative from MatrixCare, celebrates hospices that demonstrate excellence across key patient-experience metrics. For over a decade, this program has set industry standards by spotlighting agencies with consistently high satisfaction and quality of care scores (matrixcare.com).

This recognition validates Our Hospice steadfast commitment to its mission: “Making Every Moment Count.” By delivering compassionate, personalized care—especially during life’s most poignant moments—our teams ensure that patients and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and respected every day.

Administered by MatrixCare and required by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), the Hospice CAHPS survey is a trusted national instrument completed by primary caregivers of patients who received hospice services. Metrics include communication, timely support, respect, emotional and spiritual support, pain management, caregiver training, overall rating, and willingness to recommend.
