On September 14th, the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum will host an architectural walking tour of five iconic church buildings in downtown Plymouth. Discover snippets of history paired with the unique features of each structure. Experience the stained-glass windows from inside and enjoy the sacred spaces.
The churches included in the walk are the First United Church of Christ, Grace Community Christian Church, St. Michael Catholic Church, First United Methodist Church, and St. Thomas Episcopal Church. All are within a three-block walking distance. The tour will start at the First United Church of Christ at the corner of Center and Adams Streets at 2:30 pm.
Tickets for the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum’s architectural walk of churches on September 14th are $10 each and can be purchased at the Museum, located at 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth. Tickets are also available for purchase on-site the day of the tour. Museum hours are 10:00 to 4:00, Tuesday through Saturday. For questions, call 574-936-2306.
