The Indiana County Highway Workers Foundation (ICHWF) has announced that Jason Peters, the Superintendent of the Marshall County Highway Department, has been named the organization’s new president.
Peters, a lifelong resident of Marshall County, has served with the local highway department for 22 years. The foundation noted that he brings extensive experience in highway operations and a deep appreciation for the men and women who serve Indiana counties daily.
"I’m involved because I care deeply about highway workers and their families and want to be there when they need help the most," Peters said regarding his new role. "Even if we don’t all know one another personally, there’s a real sense of community."
The foundation stated that Peters’ leadership, dedication to service, and commitment to Indiana’s highway community position him well to guide and advance the ICHWF mission.
