Last week the Marshall County Alcoholic Beverage Commission approved the three requests for new permits with no opposition.
The Dollar General at 1530 South Michigan Street in Plymouth was approved for a grocery beer and wine permit. Supersky Fuels Inc. was granted a grocery beer and wine permit for the Bourbon Truck Stop at 12657 Beech Road. The final request seeking a new permit from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission was from Vardaan Inc. They too were seeking a grocery beer and wine permit, but they didn’t have a location in Bremen at the time of this month’s meeting. The permit was granted but will be held in escrow until a location can be found and approved by the state excise officer.
The County Alcoholic Beverage Commission also approved all eight renewals. The renewals were for Brass Rail, Pizza Bills and Millea’s Package Store in Plymouth, Dry Run in Argos, CVS and Hooples in Bremen and CVS and Town and County Liquor in Culver.
The next Marshall County Alcoholic Beverage Commission meeting is June 4th in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
