Join Aladdin as he ventures into a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian tales—from Ali Baba to Scheherazade and even Sinbad the Sailor—when the Missoula Children's Theatre and more than 50 local students present the original musical adaptation of ALADDIN at The REES Theatre.
The local cast features Lucy Garcia as Aladdin and Everly Lichtenbarger as Aladdin's Mother. Sofia Fonseca stars as Princess Dory, while Bella Admave portrays her father, the Sultan, alongside Mollie Davis as the Grand Vizier. Leigh Hooper appears as Dinazade, Keeper of the Book of Answers, and Kyndra Thayer plays her sister, Scheherazade. Ike Wheeler takes the stage as The Mysterious One, while Evie Bisnauth, Paige Overmeyer, and Calvin Sherk bring the mischievous Genies to life.
Also featured are Evie Richie as the stubborn Donkey and Astrid Kellenberg as the spirited Goat. Josie Barker plays Ali Baba alongside Sara Zehner as Cassim. America Ringer portrays Sinbad, joined by Sailors Monroe Platz and Evie Menefee. The wise-cracking Palm Trees are played by Khloe Meyers and Liam Bringham, while Annalise Hochstedler appears as the Camel.
The Cave of Wonders is brought to life by Maicee Brummett, Amelie Jaynes-Black, Coley Bowling, Dorothy Gifford, and Hennessey Gifford. The Vagabonds are portrayed by Olivia Baca, Evelyn Thada, and Lily Capron, while the pack of lost Penguins features Alexis Meadows and Levi Smith.
Serving as Assistant Directors are Claire Menefee and Aaron Meadows. The residency is led by Missoula Children's Theatre Tour Directors Maye Hansen and Alessia Prenda, with musical accompaniment by Betty Berkey and support from HR Generalist Maggie Palacios.
ALADDIN will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26, and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at The REES Theatre, 100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana.
Tickets for adults are $10, and $6 for children. Tickets are available online, at Na Rie Simple Treasures, or at the Everwise Box Office at The REES Theatre an hour before performances.
