Four local organizations are teaming up to host a Community Grocery Bingo Event on September 30th, and they are asking local businesses and community members for donations to help make the event a success.
Breathe Easy Marshall County Alliance, Bowen Health, Marshall County HOPE, and the Marshall County Council on Aging are partnering to bring the event to the Life Enrichment Center from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The family-friendly event will give participants the opportunity to win grocery prizes, household essentials, and personal care items while bringing the community together.
Organizers are seeking donations of fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, breakfast items, meat department gift cards, household essentials, paper products, personal hygiene items, laundry supplies, grocery store gift cards, and gift baskets or door prizes. All donations are requested by September 18th to allow time for organizing prizes and event materials.
Sponsors will receive recognition during the event, appreciation on social media and community outreach efforts, and positive community visibility and goodwill.
Senior citizens, Bowen Health clients, Marshall County HOPE clients, and everyone in the community are invited to attend. Organizers are asking attendees to register in advance, as the room can only accommodate 75 people.
For sponsorship information or to donate, contact Annette Haining with Breathe Easy Marshall County Alliance at 574-948-4988, or Janis Holiday with the Marshall County Council on Aging at 574-936-9904.
