Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced the sentencing of a Lawrenceville man to prison.
It was following his conviction on drug charges by a Lawrence County jury late last year. 38 year old Antron Williams was found guilty of Methamphetamine Delivery, Unlawful Methamphetamine Conspiracy and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. He was sentenced in November of 2023 in Lawrence County Circuit Court and was given 20 years on the Delivery charge, 20 years on the Conspiracy charge and 1 year on the Cannabis charge. All sentences will run concurrently.
The two meth related offenses will be followed by 18 months of mandatory supervised release each and the cannabis charge will be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
