The Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District (LCSWCD) had a solid year in 2024.
That assessment was made by district conservationist Kristie Cooley Thursday night at their 80th annual meeting.
The affair was held at the Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville.
There were no individual awards made by the district this year.
2 directors were elected to the governing board.
The main program featured "The Birds of Prey" who have been touring local schools in Lawrence and neighboring Richland counties.
