Lawrence County Treasurer Barbie Morey has announced that the 2025 property tax bills have been mailed out. They were sent last week to citizens in the county.
The due date for the first installment is Friday, October 10 and the second installment is due on Friday, November 14th. Property owners are reminded to make sure you have all of your qualified exemptions before paying your bill. People can pay by cash or check in the Treasurer's office in the Lawrence County Courthouse Annex or at most local banking institutions in the county. Make sure that your bill is with you when payment is made. Instructions for online payments are printed on the back of the bills and can be paid that way.
