The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department (LCSD) arrested a southwestern Indiana man in eastern Lawrence County Monday.
Taken into custody at the Pier in Westport was 34-year-old Nicholas Anthis of rural Vincennes on a preliminary charge of Theft under $300. He was transported to the Lawrence County Jail in Lawrenceville and was being held there pending a detention hearing.
Lawrenceville Police Monday arrested 22-year-old Andru Deaton of rural St. Francisville for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was later released with a notice to appear in court.
