Authorities in Lawrence County dealt with two reported altercation cases on Sunday.
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department was dispatched late Sunday, August 31st after being alerted on an incident in the St Francisville area. Taken into custody was 55-year-old Richard Baxley of St Francisville on charges of Aggravated Battery and Battery. He was transported to the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on the offenses pending a detention hearing.
26-year-old Ian Price of Lawrenceville was arrested by Lawrenceville Police in Lawrenceville earlier in the day. He was preliminarily charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery and was booked into the Lawrence County Jail in Lawrenceville pending a detention hearing.
