Ivy Tech Community College Offers has partnered with 160 Driving Academy to offer Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training to prepare students for careers in the high-demand trucking industry.
With more than 63,000 job openings projected through 2031, earning a CDL presents an opportunity for career growth, high income potential, and a flexible lifestyle.
The CDL training program provides 40 hours of classroom instruction and 120 hours on-yard instruction, allowing students to complete their training in just four weeks. Additionally, many graduates receive tuition reimbursement from their new employers.
To be eligible for CDL training, participants must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, have a Social Security number, and be in good health. Training is offered in partnership with 160 Driving Academy, with locations in Bloomington and Indianapolis.
