On Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30 ET the nonprofit Solar United Neighbors will host a free Solar Congress event. Open to everyone across Indiana; this interactive Solar Congress will provide information about solar energy and opportunities for attendees to advocate for fair solar policies. The event culminates in a series of local Solar Congresses in Fishers, Evansville, Fort Wayne, and Lafayette. Throughout the past year, these events have provided opportunities for solar energy supporters to join together and learn about solar policy priorities.
Solar Congress attendees will learn how solar energy can reduce electric bills while bringing local, clean, resilient energy to Indiana. Discussions will explore solar policy priorities in the 2025 Indiana General Assembly, such as community solar. There will also be an overview of the Solar for All program – an unprecedented opportunity to expand solar access – and how it affects Hoosiers. Presenters will share opportunities for solar supporters across the state to advocate for fair solar policies. Participants will also have interactive opportunities to provide feedback on SUN’s priorities, Solar for All implementation, and ways to advance fair solar policies in Indiana.
Indiana Solar Congress is a free virtual event open to all. You can register online for the webinar – register here.
