Summer camp students in Chip Dean’s Integrity Academy of Martial Arts program tour the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday.
Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel met with the students. Deputy Blake Bennett, K9 Handler along with Deputy Alex Truty the county’s second K9 Handler gave a presentation to the young adults with their K9 partners. Detective Sergeant Ryan Hollopeter gave a presentation concerning the Drone that is utilized by the Department. The young adults were able to tour the Marshall County 911 dispatch with Communications Supervisor Zach McGuigan speaking with the students about dispatch roles and responsibilities.
The children were excited with the educational experience along with getting to know local Law Enforcement with the community.
