The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a hiring fair in east central Indiana for winter seasonal positions on Tuesday.
This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Indianapolis Sub Districtt, 7105 S. Brookville Rd in Indianapolis.
Winter seasonal positions run between Nov. 1 and April 1 at a starting pay of $21 per hour for full-time operations and $25 per hour for on-call only positions. Job duties include performing general highway maintenance, traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal and other duties related to winter operations. A valid CDL is required to be considered for a seasonal role.
There will be a $250 sign on bonus to start on any of the following dates:

There will be a $500 retention bonus offered to Winter Seasonal Maintenance Workers work full-time hired on or before December 9, and stay through March 21.
Registration is not required to attend the event. Interviews will be conducted on site and INDOT team members will be available to answer questions and provide more information about open positions and careers with the agency.
