wako news
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a special statement warning of the heightened danger for fire across the WAKO listening area. The combination of warm temperatures, gusty south winds, low relative humidity and dry vegetation will create conditions favorable for the rapid spread and growth of fire, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Outdoor burning is discouraged and people should be careful with improperly discarded cigarettes.
