Governor Mike Braun is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Clay County in honor of Volunteer Firefighter, EMT, and Clay County Deputy Coroner Roy A. Smith of North Centerpoint.
Smith passed away in the line of duty at the age of 60 on Saturday, April 5.
Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in Clay County on Sunday, April 13. Governor Braun is asking businesses and residents located in Clay County to lower their flags as well.
