The Indiana State Police (ISP) are underway with a death investigation in Gibson County.
Preliminary reports indicate that a male subject was discovered deceased in a residence in Oakland City Thursday.
Another male subject has been detained by law enforcement as a person of interest.
It is not known if any charges have been filed.
The name of the dead man along with other details are not been released as the case remains open.
The Gibson County Sheriffs Department and Oakland City Police are assisting in the investigation.
