County police arrested two people for operating without a license on Saturday, August 3rd.
At approximately 6:45 PM one of the county’s K-9 Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 30 and Michigan Street. The driver, 45-year-old Randolfo Del Cid Valenzuela of Fort Wayne was found to be operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license and held on a $100 cash bond. He bonded out just before 10 p.m.

Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday Deputy Matt Geiger stopped a white Ford van on U.S. 31 at 9A Road for speeding, 77-mph in a 45-mph construction zone.
It was found that the driver; Erick Alan Gonzalez Biester of Indianapolis, had never obtained a driver’s license. He was arrested and charged with operator never licensed and booked in the County Jail. He was held on a $100 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
